Race Night at Potton's Working mens Club
What Is Party On
Potton?
Party on Potton is a not for profit organisation
whose main objective is to organise a major
community event for the residents of Potton
every other year, with mini fund raising events
occurring during the in-between years.
The Henry Smith Playing Fields lies
at the heart of this beautiful town and is the
centre point to 3 days of festivities. During
this time a grand marquee is erected and throughout
the day, locals can come along and join in lots
of FREE fun
family activities, such as: Carnival, Kids Zone,
Wheelie Bin Races, Climbing walls, Giant Games,
Workshops and much, much more.
At night the marquee is transformed
into a ticketed event party zone of various
themes and residents party the night away in
style with a licensed bar and a variety of
entertainments such as: Almost ABBA, Disco,
Big Bands, Potton’s
got Talent, Magic & Illusion night and Circus
Fun.
At the end of Party on! Potton’s
big weekend, money is donated to various local
charities and organisations, therefore ensuring
continued support to our community.
Party On! Potton is run by a committee made up
of volunteers who give up a lot of their time
leading up to, and during, the event. In
addition, there are a whole host of other volunteer
helpers who make themselves available to assist
with fund-raising and during the course of the
event itself.
